How often should I service my gas fire?
Every gas fire should be serviced every 12 months by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Annual servicing checks for carbon monoxide risk, flue integrity, correct combustion, and ensures the appliance is safe to use for another year.
My pilot light won't stay lit — can you fix it?
Yes — this is one of the most common gas fire faults. It’s usually a failing thermocouple or a dirty pilot assembly, both of which we can replace or clean on-site.
Can you remove a gas fire I don't want anymore?
Yes — we safely disconnect and cap off redundant gas fires, and can remove the appliance from the property if required. The cap-off work is certified so you have paperwork for future sale of the property.
